In order for Zoom to work properly, be sure these settings are enabled.
Open System Preferences and go to "security and privacy"
Under the privacy tab, click on Microphone and make sure Zoom has a check next to it.
Still under the privacy tab, click on Camera and make sure Zoom has a check next to it.
Still under the privacy tab, click on Screen Recording and make sure Zoom has a check next to it.
