If you are not able to use your mic in an online class, this article may help. LEAH school campuses are using both Canvas and Zoom for video conferencing, so this article will cover both platforms. Please disregard the instructions for the platform you're not using.
1. Restart your computer
Before trying any troubleshooting, first restart your computer and see if your mic works after the restart.
2. Unmute your mic
First, make sure that your Mic is not muted in your video conferencing software.
